Review of The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) by Dan A — 15 Sep 2014
Felt uneven. The level of excess is put across a bit too heavily, we don't really need to see EVERY party or EVERY wild occurrence, we get the idea. It's hard to stay focused during those parts because every single character is totally unlikable and I can't really have too much fun watching people I hate living the life of Riley for two hours.
It gets more interesting when the FBI stick their noses in more and Jordan Belfort's life starts falling apart because I wanted to see him get taken down.
