Review of The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) by Nic B — 07 Nov 2014
A masterpiece. Scorsese directs with an energy and confidence of a master, and his cast throw down in spades. DiCaprio has his best role since The Aviator, and he throws the kitchen sink at it, with Margot Robbie and Jonah Hill providing stellar support.
Never has three hours gone so fast - the editing is tight as a drum, resulting in a fast, epic, expletive and profanity-laden saga about a truly vile human being. And you'll love every second of it.
