Review of The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) by Luke G — 14 Dec 2014
Exactly three hours later, and I have been through the journey of Jordan Belfort. Holy hell, Scorsese, now that is how you do a movie. The Wolf of Wall Street shoots off like a cannon, and, through its long run time, maintains its intensity.
That is the best role I have ever seen Leonardo DiCaprio or Jonah Hill have in their entire careers. Be that as it may, Leonardo DiCaprio just went to a different level. He took no easy routes with this character, and he bared everything for his audience.
Kudos to a remarkable tale on how something like stock broking can turn into an obsession with money, drugs, and power.
