Review of The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) by Henry F — 01 Oct 2014
The thing people don't realise about this film is that its written from Belfort's (the main character) point of view. I mean, its all based on his own book. so obviously his lifestyle will be glorified, because we see it through his eyes.
All the audience needs is morals and their own point of view to realise that even though his life was shown to be almost positive, it actually isn't positive at all. That's just the way he sees it.
Once you realise that, the film is brilliant.
