Review of The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) by Brandon S — 02 Jan 2015
A ballsy and uproarious exploration of the negative power of excess. Its the classic rise and falls story, but Martin Scorsese tells it with the kind of energy and honesty that only he could. Also, I mean, come on.
Leo DiCaprio delivered one heck of a performance, which is beautifully complimented by the vain, wormy, toad-like, incredible performance from Jonah Hill. An incredible work of art that is enjoyed by teenagers for all the wrong reasons.
No doubt, this is the best film of 2013!
