Review of The Wolf Man (1941) by Matt L — 12 Feb 2008
Classic monster movie with a wonderful representation of good and evil sharing the same body. Lon Chaney Jr. reigns a man tormented with the fact that he has to kill people even though he doesn't want to.
The ending is brilliant due to being tragic instead of happy with only one character knowing the monster was destroyed but at the worst possible cost. Maybe not so scary, esp. by today's standards, but still a wonderful, sad story.
