Review of The Wolf Man (1941) by Matthew R — 07 Jul 2013
I'm not gonna lie, The Wolf Man has flaws. A lot of flaws. Tons of plot holes and things that don't make sense, the rubber nose on Lon Chaney, Jr. looks really fake, and the movie isn't even scary.
But that doesn't diminish the fact that I consider this to be the best horror film ever made. I don't know why I love it so much, but I just do. I saw it for the first time when I was 3 or 4 years old, and I've watched it at least five times a year ever since.
Now excuse me as I go rip out the throats of the two critics who gave this a bad review.
