One of Universal's biggest triumphs, Lon Chaney inhabited the part of Larry Talbot perfectly, displaying feral brutality and evoking sympathy in equal measure. A beautiful, haunting horror flick from a bygone era - I'm actually looking forward to the remake, would you believe.
