Review of The Wizard (1989) by Brian R — 23 May 2009
Half of this 90 minute commercial for Nintendo and Universal Studios is kids traveling somewhere, the other half is a collection of bizarre and incredible moments: The Badness of the power glove, "He touched my breast," Christian Slater channels Jack Nicholas, Jenny Lewis punches Fred Savage in the face, Mexican truckers assault the kids for their 30 dollars, the final Mario Bros 3 showdown.
The late 80's must have been a lawless time because 3 kids would never be able to travel from Utah to L.A. hustling people via video games today. Also, the Cabazon dinosaurs are in this movie, which is awesome!
