Review of The Wiz (1978) by Scott W — 24 Sep 2007
This is a "grand" musical but for some reason I just never really liked it. I guess that I'm getting old, or perhaps it's that I really don't like change but I just prefer the Wizard of Oz.
It also falls under that category of why would you re-make a classic? Most people though think that this is a four star movie and I'll go ahead and give it those four on all the good people that I know that like it that much.
