Review of The Wiz (1978) by Harlan H — 11 Apr 2009
So ridiculous but Michael Jackson as the Scarecrow makes it slightly entertaining. I dont think the world was quite ready for this in 1978 but it was an interesting vision of the Wizard of Oz story that was told with an interesting cast of singers and actors.
Not a great film by any means but it is still worth a watch.
