This movie is not good, but it gets scored even lower for the promise it carried... and squandered. I mean, it had Sarandon, Pfeiffer and Nicholson as the devil. No one could screw this up without some sort of deliberate attempt to do so.
It's hard to pinpoint what it was that I didn't like about this, but the effects seemed cheesy, the acting slightly spastic and most scenes seemed powered by bad ideas. This was just so disappointing.
