Review of The Witches of Eastwick (1987) by Elaine M — 30 Mar 2008
Can't really grasp why it's so popular. The cast is good, especially Pfeiffer, but the plot is so weak and hollow- it's hard to guess at what audience they had aimed it. There are some funny moments, but a film cannot survive on a couple of laughs.
All in all, a poor and substanceless attempt at a fantasy drama...
