Review of The Witches of Eastwick (1987) by David C — 03 Jan 2014
The presentation of The Witches of Eastwick is a story starring Jack Nicholson as the Devil, disguised as a rich, perverted gigalo who visits the quaint little town of Eastwick to answer the calling for a perfect man by three ladies (Cher, Susan Sarandon, and Michelle Pfeiffer).
The actors do their best with what they're given; Jack Nicholson seems perfectly devilish for his role. Granted, for a supernatural comedy, it is very supernatural, even grotesque during voodoo practice, but what's missing is the comedy.
