This is my FAVORITE movie from being a kid.
It terrified me! I still have dreams of being trapped in a painting.
I even have squared toed shoes :).
It is the best adaptation of any Roald Dahl (my FAVORITE AUTHOR) story I have ever seen. (Followed by Quentin Tarantino's adaptation of Man from the South in Four Rooms).
The cigar smoking grandmother has always been my favorite model of the type of adult I want to be.
The story is great! The puppeteering is ridiculously good!
