Review of The Witches (1990) by Bryan W — 04 Feb 2009

I did not know this was directed by Nicolas Roeg until I looked at the description on flixster. Fucked up. In any case, given the running time, it takes too much time to set things up and not enough until the climax.

I guess it's brisk pacing, but it feels like it moves way too quickly between the transformation and the climax. Oh well. There are some great effects and it's a great movie for children who like their films on the darker side.
