Review of The Witch (2016) by Lbj6 — 21 Feb 2016

I was expecting more from this film based on the critical acclaim it garnered but left the theater disappointed. The movie is definitely well-made and original but it seemed somewhat uninteresting. I thoroughly enjoyed the concept but feel the creators did not deliver a product that reached its full potential.

Highly unsettling and disturbing throughout but just not very scary or interesting. 5.9/10.
