Not for the average moviegoer. If you love the Transformer movies and think The Rock is a great actor and never miss an Adam Sandler movie, THIS ONE is not for you. Plan on bringing your old English dictionary with you, and listen closely. I need to see this movie again because I'm sure I missed plenty along the way. This movie will play very well on Blu-ray or Netflix in the privacy of your living room.
What do you really need to know about this movie?
It's beautifully-acted and hard to watch. It's very dark and disturbing and one can lose the reality they're watching a movie and not some real family falling apart. This movie is incredibly unsettling and not for the faint of heart. Some surprises along the way, but not a lot "happens." You need patience to appreciate this one. I wasn't a huge fan of the VERY end, but everything else was superbly done. This movie gets from me a "9" on the horror scale.. because it is SO well done and SO different.
