Not Really as good as people say it is. "Thought provoking"? really only if you still secretly half believe the stuff you were fed in your evangelical sunday school classes. a muddled, can't-make-up-its-mind plot.
obviously went to great efforts to be period realistic, but why? I can't help wondering what's the point? vivid images, not much else... if you've seen the trailer you've seen the movie.
tedious, glad I didn't spend money on this.
