The Witch is one of the most psychology and visually frightening films I have ever seen. I am scarred as it makes me realize just how close the human mind is to total insanity. Robert Eggers paints a shakespearean folk tale on the fragility of the human psyche.
And by the end no bars are held back. You will fear the witch.
