Movies like these are difficult to make since most of them, IMO, are very difficult to watch and very difficult to make interesting. This one is no different. However, the costumes are nice, the shots of Venice are spectacular, and Helena Bonham-Carter is her usual amazing self, but even that's not enough to make the movie interesting.
