Review of The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006) by Erin K — 30 Mar 2008
A very gritty and realistic look at what drove some Irishmen to take up with the infamous IRA...it some ways it may be the Schlinder's List of the Irish people - it is that graphic and heart-wrenching at times.
It is also an interesting look at a troubled relationship between two brothers. I highly recommend this movie if you are of Irish or British descent.
