Review of The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2006) by Kirk W — 07 Oct 2008
A powerful film with incredible emotional performances before a brilliant setting.
The perspective may be a little too biased to be considered a historical documentary, but the point is driven home and forces the viewer to consider, if not understand the social and political setting.
Anyone with a remote interest in political science who appreciates great film making will not regret time spent with this movie.
