You can't watch this movie without subtitles. Their Irish accent, just too hard to catch up, lol.
This film tells of how a group of rebels, led by brothers Teddy (Padraic Delaney) and Damien (Cillian Murphy), fought for independence of Ireland from the British. At times heartbreaking, the fight for independence leads to more bloodshed and swayed loyalty among themselves.
The performances are noteworthy. Character development is top notch. Well, what do you expect from a film which has won the Palm d'Or at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival?
