Many movies based on true stories usually turn out to be good and this movie is no exception. The only downfall for the movie was it was often hard to follow the conversations, but it was only, because the movie stayed rigidly true to the Irish dialect.
Overall the movie is good, because it captures the raw emotion of the long lasting Irish and British conflict and it makes you feel like it was the British that were the real terrorists.
