Review of The Wind Rises (2013) by Boogeefilmguy — 14 Aug 2015
This is supposedly Hayao Miyazaki's last film, and its one of his best. Its one of those movies you just don't want to end. Its so good I almost hate it for it. Not in a bad way, but hate in a good way.
I guess you could say I hate it because its so inventive. The way Miyazaki directs his films is so unique and I don't think anyone directs a movie like him. I feel like my only little nitpick would be the main characters voice actor (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) it was still an okay performance, just.
.. not as good as everyone else. Alas, definitely give this one a try.
