Review of The Wind and the Lion (1975) by Paul C — 05 Jun 2008
Get past Sean Connery as a Berber Sultan (complete with his usual Scottish accent no matter what role he plays) and what you have is a very entertaining historical adventure (based on an actual incident although admittedly a lot of dramatic licence is used).
Connery and Bergen are good, but Brian Keith is great as Theodore Roosevelt. Can't believe I put off watching this for so long!
