Review of The Wild, Wild World of Jayne Mansfield (1968) by Brandon S — 26 Aug 2008
Pseudo-documentary in which the decapitated, bloated corpse of Jayne Mansfield is filmed at various locations around the world. Ok, it doesn't really show her corpse but she was dead when this was put together.
Cobbled together from various footage of Jayne and then overdubbed by someone pretending to be Jayne, it all makes for a pretty tasteless (but also a trashy and fun) cash-in. My favourite bit features the all female topless band 'The Ladybirds'.
