Review of The Wild One (1953) by Peter M — 06 Aug 2007
For the time, this was an inflammatory movie, in a way the Trainspotting of of its time. Showing the appealing, "powerful" crown that being in a biker gang brought you, while showing the leader (Brando)as a character with flaws, that makes you feel sympathy toward him.
Yes, it's dated, but look past it at the issues it raises about crime and stereotyping.
