Review of The Wild One (1953) by Charles D — 24 May 2008
I expected this to be a terrible postwar B-movie, but it's a bit more interesting than that. That said the film nonetheless suffocates under its adherence to convention, and it's Brando's excellent, iconic performance alone that extends this movie's historical shelf-lilfe.
(Mary Murphy deserves some credit, too.).
