Review of The Wild One (1953) by Jack H — 29 Dec 2012
A solid three star film. Marlon Brando leads a pack of motorcycle hoods with one thing on their agenda; to cause chaos. They have no agenda until they reach a small town in California. While reeking havoc, Brando takes a liking to the local sheriffs daughter.
She sees that he's a good soul but has lots of personal baggage. The sad thing is that Brando doesn't know how to react to kindness because it's been vacant from his life. Towards the end of the film, Brando reaches out to the sheriff's daughter showing he's become a more complete person.
