Review of The Wild Geese (1978) by Prince C — 03 Apr 2010
British special ops unit aka SAS sent into west Africa as mercs to aquire and retrieve a HVC (high valued commodity) back onto the parliamentary floors within Scotland Yard under a deniable banner. This movie was based on actual events.
It coincides with the 80s hushed up story where a C-130 cargo gunship packed with battle scared and dead soldiers headed into a UN (!) signatory airport, to refuel...gotta love or fear intelligence ops.
Memorable Quote: "Alan kill me" - he told a friend as he hopped in pain trying to catch a plane to take him home while matchete wielding militia were closing in on him.
