Review of The Wild Geese (1978) by Pro T — 11 Oct 2012
One of the absolute classic special forces/operations films of all-time. Really does a good job of portraying the historically critical role of mercenary units frequently used during the Cold War (even still today) in Africa when the need for a covertly planned coup was called for and answered by men (characters) brilliantly played by Richard Burton.
The supporting cast is excellent as well with Roger Moore and Richard Harris to name just a few. Highly recommended for action/military aficionados.
