Review of The Wild Bunch (1969) by Ivan D — 26 Sep 2008
A great western with gritty violence and unforgettable characters. The innovative shots of slow motion brought more artistic depth to the brutal action scenes, and Sam Peckinpah should take credit for it.
Holden and Borgnine gave great performances, and so are the others. The Climactic bloodbath are both tragic and glorious, two thumbs way up for me!
