This is Sam Peckinpah's masterpiece about a gang of outlaws carrying out their last job. A trailblazer for on screen violence back in the 60s along with 'Night of the living dead' and 'Bonnie and Clyde'.
Every bullet wound and spray of blood is excellently emphasised through the use of slow motion. It was also one of the first films to put the focus on exit wounds as opposed to entry wounds.
