In the first 15 minutes you already get probably the most glorious and violent shoot out ever put to film and kids feeding scorpions to bloody ants. And that's just the begining of the ride - a wild, furious, nihilistic ride that doesn't stop for a second to wipe a tear.

The only minor problem I had with the film (and this is just nitpicking) is it can get confusing between the two groups of characters: the bouty hunters and The Wild Bunch. At first we don't know who we are suppose to root for, but it gradually becomes clear around the first hour mark.

Almost every scene degenerates into violence as Peckinpah paints a grim picture of Texas and Mexico at the turn of the century. So if you can't get enough of dirty evil men in hats making their dirty evil deeds in the most dishonorable and captivating way imaginable - put this one on your shelf next to Unforgiven and never show it to the ladies.
