Review of The Wild Bunch (1969) by Brad M — 18 Sep 2010
What can I say about Peckinpah's epic western The Wild Bunch that hasn't already been said? From the camaraderie of the wild bunch to the absolutely epic shootout at the end, this was landmark filmmaking in 1969.
The movie is set in a time where the classic west of cowboys and gun slinging was coming to an end, as America was moving closer toward the industrial revolution. If nothing else, watch it for the absolute mayhem that breaks out at the end.
