Review of The Wild Bunch (1969) by Megamoviereviewer D — 29 Apr 2011
Personally this is, of course in my opinion, Sam Peckinpah's best film. Everything that he had done absolutely excellent in films is truly portrayed in this absolutely magnificent western. The Wild Bunch is truly a perfect western.
William Holden leads the wild bunch into the remaining world of the wild west, while Robert Ryan chases after the gang. We go through the wild bunch's journey through the west and it truly puts us into the world of a western with brutal violence.
The final shootout to this movie is one of the greatest contributions to cinema ever.
