Review of The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia (2009) by Mikhel A — 19 Mar 2011
An unbelievably (and unintentionally?) tragic journey through a year of the chaotic, dysfunctional, destructive, (it's a long list of synonyms) White family. Both sad and terrifying this film was exploitative yet cautionary.
It certainly makes the viewer appreciative of normalcy. Yes, they're wild, but I wouldn't go as far as to say wonderful.
