Review of The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia (2009) by Lori B — 15 Sep 2011
I have to give this train wreck of a documentary three stars because I have to be honest and admit that I could not look away. My favorite part was when a White who had shot a relative three time in the face expressed a hope that he might be able to get "alternative sentancing" to avoid jail time.
So all its value as a visceral guilty pleasure, I wish our culture could move on to once again begin to embrace the real heroes in our nation rather than the bottom of society's refuse pile.
