Review of The Wicker Man (1973) by Hannah D — 21 Sep 2011
This is a very odd film, make no bones about it. I like all of Edward Woodward's scenes, but some of it was just plain weird! I was thinking of giving it only three stars right until I saw the ending, which was quite simply amazing.
That scene alone is worth an extra star alone, and finally I understood why this is titled 'The Wicker Man'!
