Excellent psychological horror in the vein of Rosemary's Baby. Although I don't think it approaches Polanski's masterpiece, this is one seriously bizarre movie with a creepy, downbeat ending.

It's amazing how much dread the filmmakers conjure up with animal masks, naked dances, and that specific airy, mystical subset of Celtic folk music. Kind of feels like an extended Twilight Zone episode, though naturally more edgy.

And sorry, if you aren't even slightly disturbed by Sgt. Howie's fate in our modern times, then you have a problem. Where's the empathy?
