Review of The Wicker Man (1973) by Jim F — 15 Jul 2012
That was pretty bizzare. I can see how this might have been a thought provoking and gripping book, but in this case it doesn't show well in film. For starters I really didn't enjoy all the singing.
And in general I found it looking rather rigid and dated. Maybe I don't get it. That cold acting feelingless film may be the reason i've been left with some after taste soon after viewing.
