Review of The Whole Wide World (1996) by Bill B — 02 Sep 2017
I'd only seen this biopic of Robert E. Howard once before, but man, it had stuck with me over the years and I was pleased to give it another look of the To-Watch Pile. Vincent D'Onofrio feels very convincing as the doomed writer, bridling against the world in which he was somewhat trapped, an intellectual in a small town, doting on a dying mother, which eats up the majority of his time.
Recommended.
