Review of The Whole Town's Talking (1935) by Maria V — 25 Mar 2010
My favourite comedienne with one of the greatest gangster tough-guys of all time. Edward G Robinson proves his mettle as a funnyman playing the meek Arthur Ferguson Jones, a clerk who gets mistaken for a bloodthirsty gangster.
A delightful mistaken identity screwball comedy with hilarious performances from the two leads. God bless Jean Arthur!
