Review of The White Countess (2005) by Christine B — 23 Jan 2008
Ralph Fiennes and Natasha Richardson give exquisite performances in this movie and it's always cool to see Natasha in the same film as her Mom and Aunt. It's a beautiful film to look at, as are most Merchant Ivory films, and the story is good but not as strong as I'd hoped.
The ending was particularly disappointing and left me thinking, is that it? Now what?
