Review of The Westerner (1940) by Jeff B — 20 Aug 2007
Well done western directed by William Wyler and starring Gary Cooper and Walter Brennan. Cooper did a nice job but Brennan was excellent in a worthy Oscar winning role (his third). I thought it lost some steam near the middle, but the rest of the film was very good and it had a nice ending.
I need to check out more films with Brennan, this is only the second one I've seen.
