Didn't hit the comedy notes it was trying to. Wilson is not the kind of guy that can play the jerk turned softy, hes already too much of a softy, needs to stick to being the straight man.

I don't think there is an audience nor a defense for this movie, it's nothing new, and shows the limited appeal of the Wilson brothers comedy, Luke though he may not know it, is a better actor than he is a comedian/writer, and much more talented than his brother.
