Review of The Wedding Singer (1998) by Benedick L — 21 Sep 2010
Upon first viewing, this film is quite funny and manages to keep you till the very end. Now upon my fifth or sixth or whatever viewing, I started to see the flaws, which is sad because this was Sandler in his good days (before he got TOO repetitive).
The film is a mixture between Sandler and Barrymore trying to look cute (speaking slowly, heads either up too much or down too much and eyes watered up) and not working and both characters running to each other to tell the other they love him/her but for some reason backing out in the last minute.
Saying this, it is still a good movie and if you like 80s music, you need to see this.
