Review of The Wedding Singer (1998) by Marcus G — 02 Nov 2012
I have been on an Adam Sandler rant for awhile so I feel it is high time to give the man some praise for the better things he did and Wedding Singer is the best movie he has ever done. This movie is totally worth buying because it is one of the most re-watchable movies ever.
You can watch it with anyone and have a good time. With your parents, with your friends, and with a date. This shows off Adam Sandler's true talents, it's a great blast from the past with the hair and the songs.
Turns out Adam Sandler is not a bad singer and can really make singing a song funny. Most importantly you like Robbie Hart (Adam Sandler's character), you root for him, unlike his other characters (I'm looking at you Jill!!) When he get's stood up at his OWN WEDDING you feel for him and laugh at most to all of the jokes which only a few Sandler movies have accomplished.
So I giving Mr. Sandler a break here to say that The Wedding Singer is a very good comedy.
